Sean is the general manager here at Divine Consign and also Captain America. (Sorry for blowing your cover, Sean!) Sean got his degree in Business Management from Arizona State. The owner, Kellie, went to visit him while he was attending school, and while she was there got the idea that started Divine Consign. So, I guess you can say Sean was a big inspiration for starting this amazing business. Though Sean was born in Oak Park he currently lives in Chicago. He loves working out and staying active, which is why Summer is his favorite time of year. He says it’s the perfect weather for going to the pool, playing sports, and soaking in some much-needed sun here in the Windy City!
Danny: Danny over sees everything in the warehouse here at Divine Consign. From deliveries, to pickups, to keeping our constantly changing inventory up to date in the showroom, Danny is your guy! He runs the whole back stage show that keeps our store running smoothly! Divine Consign staff say his name so often, we’re surprised he hasn’t thought of changing it. Danny is also a master chef! He loves pulling out his grill and cooking for his co-workers and family. They can’t get enough of his delicious food!
Assistant Logistics Manager
Francisco, also known as Poncho, has been working with Divine Consign for almost 5 years. He’s one of our hardest workers and the staff and customers love him! When he’s not here at Divine Consign, Francisco considers himself a family man who loves spending time with his wife and daughter. He also loves sports, his favorite being Soccer.
An Oak Parker and longtime Divine Consign customer, turned team member. She grew up in Glen Ellyn, where her Father was a general contractor, designing and building amazing houses in the Du Page county area. During High-School (a few years ago) she took on a summer job with a well-known painting and decorating company. It eventually became a full-time passion for the instant gratification of transforming spaces. From there, she moved on to spying on people. Relocating to the city, she began working for a security company. This is a time when CCTV, card access and hidden cameras where huge! She was monitoring videos of people doing unmentionable and criminal acts through strange tiny little eyes, like smoke detectors and desk top pencil sharpeners. (Do they still make those?) Once spying got boring she decided to follow her lifelong passion of motorcycles. Cindy decided to work for Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company. She attended Harley-Davidson University, (Yes, they do have their own school!) where she took every course available. She spent 13 years as a certified mechanic, service adviser and parts & accessories specialist. She wore lots of leather and lived on the edge! She built her own bike and eventually landed a 5-month internship at a Harley-Davidson dealership in London, England. After that love affair (sniff sniff) She was asked by a well-known Italian family to help open another location in Oak Park. This is where she claims, “it’s like working on a Soprano’s episode every day and I absolutely loved it, but if I tell you any more I’ll have to kill you, I know a guy.” Paradoxically, she ends the bio at the beginning – with the family. Her Mother used to drag her to garage and estate sales and consignment shops (ugh!!) She would sit in the back-seat pouting like a brat about not wanting peoples used stuff. “I want Nike and Jordache!” She loves finding the most unique and beautiful pieces to express her taste at a fraction of the price. “My Mom is so proud!” So Kids … you really do end up becoming lime your parents.

Lights, Camera, Action! After leaving the Television and Film industry, Thom is in a role he couldn’t wait to take on. When he first entered Divine as a consignor, he knew he wanted to be part of the team. Now, three years later, with more than 20 years of experience and knowledge of furniture, accessories, and decorating, Thom is thrilled to work at Divine, helping customers find the perfect pieces for their homes. Before joining Divine Consign, Thom supervised many home and decorative accessories shows at McCormick Place for more than 10 years. He then took his skills and eye for detail to the largest home and furnishing showroom, the Merchandise Mart. Thom loves talking to people and isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. When he’s not designing displays and helping customers, he can be found lounging by the pool, riding his favorite rollercoasters, running around Disney World and Universal Studios till all hours of the morning, or sitting front and center at the hottest shows. Thom’s sense of adventure and enthusiasm is contagious!

Kim loves people! She enjoys meeting them and learning about their journey in life. Her background comes from the executive retail industry. Her attitude in business always focuses on details and delivering results that have tangible value to the client and the company. She brings a “can do optimism” to any task! She says the best job ever is, being a mom to her 12-year-old daughter, 2 cats and her dog! She enjoys dining out with friends and family, no Greek food though, please. She believes, “what goes around eventually COMES back at you!” So, do it right the first time.
Totally delightful. Retired hipster. Audiophile. Active academic. Driven by her own ignorance. Sarah joined our team when we moved to our bigger and better location in North Riverside. She never fails to put a smile on her co-worker’s faces and is always up for a Starbucks run when energy is running low. She describes herself in a simple Marc Bolan quote, “Cat Black she`s so sweet. She`s so pretty I can hardly speak. Dresses in jeans, gets on scenes. She`s kind and she`s fine to me.”
Elisa started with Divine Consign over 8 years ago. It is so true! Time flies when you’re having fun! She loves helping people design/decorate their living space. She believes in making your space an authentic representation of who you are as an individual. She asks questions like, “How does it make you feel when you walk into the room?” “Is it functional for what you will be using the room for?” Elisa has developed an eye for transformation in a living space from the many old homes that her and her husband have breathed new life into and sold. She sees beauty in the in between and not so obvious. Prior to arriving at Divine, Elisa worked as a Freelance Photography Makeup Artist, assisting fashion models and photographers on location. She also worked for MAC as a Creative Artist/Makeup Artist for 17 years. In this position she trained new artists, booked makeup lessons, and makeup seminars. She is also very proud of her work in the Fashion Cares Event, a yearly Gala that raises money for people living with Aids. When Elisa is not working, she spends her time practicing piano, enjoying live music, and doing yoga.
Leah is one of our intake specialists who approves, researches and prices incoming inventory. With 10 years of experience as an antique dealer she has a strong eye for furniture, art and decor. When she’s not working, she enjoys watching her teenage daughter play competitive travel fast pitch softball, coming up with new bribes to get her son off video games, and squirrel whispering.

Iris grew up in Puerto Rico and moved to Chicago when she was 12 years old. She attended Joan’s Commercial High School where she learned how to write in short hand and how to use switch boards. She loves spending time with her grandson and mentoring him on how to lead the best life he can. She also loves to travel! Some of her favorite places have been Multnomah Falls and Yosemite National Park. She LOVES to salsa dance and isn’t afraid to bust a move! At least when she thinks no one is watching… Before coming to Divine Consign she worked at UIC for a whopping 18 years! She decided it was time for a change of pace and had always loved shopping at Divine Consign, so she jumped on the opportunity to join the team. She’s been enjoying her time working here, but says it’s nothing compared to crabbing and whale watching in Portland.

Omar was born and raised in Chicago. He’s a family man with 4 wonderful daughters that he loves very much. He enjoys spending time with his girls by taking them museums and aquariums on his days off. Omar has experience moving furniture from his years at Restoration Hardware and has been moving for over 10 years. Omar believes that joking around and having a good sense of humor is what makes the day go faster, which is why him and Darren are the dynamic duo of jokesters here at Divine.
